Dr. Laura R Korman DC, DACBN

Dr. Korman has been in practice in Port Charlotte, Florida for 30 years.

She received her Doctorate of Chiropractic in 1987 from Northwestern College of Chiropractic in Bloomington, Minnesota and utilizes a variety of adjusting techniques, treating people of all ages.  

Dr. Korman is one of a select few physicians in the country to have achieved diplomate status in nutrition through the American Clinical Board of Nutrition. She has completed over 600 post doctorate classroom hours in nutrition, and continues to learn at every opportunity.  

Dr. Korman is a recent graduate of the American Functional Neurology Institute.

Her extensive training in functional medicine enables Dr. Korman to utilize testing instruments such as the Comprehensive Nutritional Assessment Questionnaire; expanded blood chemistry; and progressive urine, saliva, stool and/or genetic tests in order to help identify undiagnosed or early patterns of metabolic dysfunction.  A personalized nutritional program can then be prescribed to aid in restoring optimal health and vitality.

Dr. Korman has served as a nutritional adviser for the local “Biggest Loser” Contests and has written several articles for the Charlotte Sun Newspaper on various health related topics.  She is the founder of the Dr. Korman’s GEARED2bewell  lifestyle.

Dr. Korman is a member of the Florida Chiropractic Physicians Association, and a past treasurer for the Southwest Florida Chiropractic Society. She is a member of both the Port Charlotte and North Port, Florida, Chambers of Commerce, and regularly supports the C.A.R.E. Center (Center For Abuse & Rape Emergencies).

Married, with three adult children, one grandson, and three cats, Dr. Korman, in her free time, enjoys ballroom /Latin dancing, bicycling, and running!


Dr. Kristin Kauffman DC

Dr. Kristin Kauffman is a compassionate and highly skilled chiropractic physician dedicated to helping patients restore their mobility, relieve pain, and reclaim their quality of life. She serves the North Port/Port Charlotte area where she provides comprehensive, conservative care for neck and back pain, upper cervical care, sports injuries, spinal stenosis, pregnant women and babies and auto-related injuries. Her philosophy centers on treating the root cause of discomfort—not just symptoms—while empowering patients with the tools and education they need for lifelong wellness.

Dr. Kauffman earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic, widely recognized as one of the world’s leading centers for chiropractic education.

She brings this same sense of curiosity, balance, and appreciation for movement into her practice—encouraging patients to live active, vibrant lives supported by a healthy spine and strong musculoskeletal foundation.
